We spent Easter in a hotel in a remote location with beautiful views. The hotel had a playground for children and a pleasant pool. The staff at the hotel were friendly. The best aspects of this hotel were the facilities it offered for families and the peaceful location surrounded by nature.

There were some negative aspects. The restaurant was average and the menu options limited, which meant we had to travel further to find other dining options.

    Facilities for children.

Too much red colour on the building - conflicted with the natural surroundings.

Staff were excellent and very helpful. Calm location. A lot of indoor/outdoor activites for children.

Resturant was expensive and menu was limited. Rooms are full of metals deco and need to be redesign.

The hotel is located in a peaceful semi-wooded area on the edge of the Jura, offering fantastic views and a quiet atmosphere. The cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable, making for a pleasant stay. The facilities provided, such as the huge playground, swimming pool, and go-karts, are excellent. The staff at the restaurant are friendly and helpful, providing great service. Additionally, the small seating areas outside the rooms are a nice touch, allowing parents to relax and enjoy a drink after the kids are asleep.

    Hard to think of anything.

the hotel is located in the mountains above the lake, very good breakfast, swimming pool in the hotel.

Fabulous facilities for kids - pool, gym, toy room, go-carts, playground, lots of space. Great value for money given Switzerland can be very expensive. Good restaurant with nice food at good value for dinner, and breaky included in room rate. Good spot to stay to access the area, beautiful countryside in warmer months (can't comment on winter).

Very much dormitory style, had to push beds together to be able to sleep next to my husband. Also, despite what Booked.net says WiFi is not free anywhere in the hotel, it must be paid for at a rather expensive rate.

Located in a peaceful semi-wooded area on the edge of the Jura mountains, this hotel offers a tranquil retreat for nature lovers. With stunning views and a quiet environment, it's the perfect place to unwind. The spacious rooms and modern facilities ensure a comfortable stay. Families will especially appreciate the various activities available, such as the indoor pool and playground. the restaurant serves a delicious buffet breakfast that will start your day off right.

The restaurant could improve in terms of fly control, but it doesn't overshadow the overall positive experience.

Probably very nice in summer, but in winter the place is dead - I was the only person there. The best thing was the helpfulness and friendliness of the two members of staff. I'll probably give it another try in summer to see if it is better.

Both reception and restaurant closed at 6pm, but I was the only guest! Not easy to find and is miles from anywhere. Probably best avoided in winter due to possible snow. Comments about the hotel being in the style of a school or clinic are valid, but the room was clean and comfortable.

Location was great and the outside facilities for the children were excellent. Grass to run on, picnic tables and a good playground.

Rooms were like school camp, four single beds with 2 up a vertical ladder. - not quite the room I expected for the price paid.

Huge playground, swimming pool, small seating areas, friendly restaurant staff, stroller-friendly.

    Nothing at all.

The Hotel provide a lot of different activities for the children. It was also located in a very beautiful part of Switzerland and was a place that you would enjoy going to to get away for a relaxing break. Y=The staff were very friendly and accomodating and the meals available at the resturant were at a very high standard and enjoyable to eat.

I really don't think there was anything that we didn't like.

Spent Christmas at this lovely hotel in the middle of fields with a scenic view, perfect for those seeking peace and quiet. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and helpful, making our stay very enjoyable. We loved the indoor pool and the facilities for children such as the trampoline and parks.

Upon arrival, it was quite hard to locate the hotel and we had some trouble finding it - an improved address or map guidance would have helped. , there were a lot of flies in the restaurant which made dining less pleasant.

Helpfull staff who even sorted a garage-parking for the bike. This is very much an activities-and-family orientated establishment well out of town.

For the night I stayed, the restruant was closed and the only food option was a "Country Music Buffet ".. Buffet food was great but all-up very expensive.

The location of Twannberg is superb, we arrived late at night and therefore couldn't see any of the scenery around us but in the morning it was glorious, we were woken up by the early morning call of the donkeys at the hotel, which we loved, this is all part of the rural tapestry. The room was spacious and airy. Parking was close to the hotel reception. A perfectly equipped hotel for conferences and people with disabilities.

The insulation between the rooms is inadequate, we asked for a quiet room which it would have been had we not had to listen to the occupants of the room next door chatting until the early hours. No service staff around at all in the evening when we arrived and we were left to our own devices to locate the room, the same in the morning, no staff in the breakfast area at all, no tables laid, it was all left up to you. In fact we ended up helping the only other two people in the breakfast room as they were severely disabled and unable to make themselves a coffee.
